Being Wellness

1.       Based on your reflections, and on a scale of 1 to 10 (ten being optimal wellbeing), where do you rate your A-physical wellbeing, B-spiritual well-being, C-psychological well-being? Why?

·         I would rate myself for A-physical wellbeing around 9 because I do eat healthy and small portion throughout the day. Meanwhile I do go gym for work out. For the B-Spiritual well-being I would like to rate myself 5 out of 10 because I do believe in god and things he has done for us and most importantly for giving me the opportunity to live this beautiful live but meanwhile I do not pray nor I go to mosque. Before I confuse anybody about my religion, let me say that I’m Muslim and we worship in the mosque. It is just a different name for church. For C-psychological well-being I would rate myself 8 because I do live very happily most of the time and try to enjoy my life as much as possible but sometimes things happens that makes you stress or upset. I try mostly to control my life as much as possible but we cannot control it 100%.

2.       Develop a goal for yourself in each area (physical, spiritual, psychological).

·         Physical: I would like make a goal to continue going to gym and try not to be very lazy some of the days.

·         Spiritual: Trying to keep my faith towards god very strong and not letting to get convince by the devil.

·         Psychological: Trying to control over my stress and madness because usually when I get stress I get very mad at everyone around me, even if that person is not related to my situation.

3.       What activities or exercise can you implement in your life to assist in moving toward each goal?

·         I would personally believe continuing my gym could benefit me towards my physical and psychological because whenever I work out I feel very relax and happy. And as far a spiritual well being, I believe if I try to listen to my adults and convey myself towards my belief I would achieve and make my faith stronger.

4.       Complete the relaxation exercise The Crime of the Century.

·         I personally have not gotten the chance to listen to this exercise because I have been not feeling well and it is very hard for me to concentrate while I’m ill. So I am really sorry for not being able to relate my experience of this exercise with my professor and classmates.

My experience with the Journey On relaxation exercise

The Journey On relaxation exercise was a great exercise I have ever done so far and I personally love it so much. While I was doing this relaxation technique I decided to sit in my living room turned all the lights off and light the candles and play the recording. I wanted my surrounding to be calm and relax while I do this exercise. While I was doing this technique I was feeling so relaxed and feeling like all my stress are getting away not just from my mind but my body and soul. After this exercise I felt so great that I cannot remember when was the last time feeling like this and having such a great sleep as well. I have actually repeated this exercise two or three times so far and might do it again in future as well. I believe this is a great exercise to do while you are very stressed out or upset on something.
